Otterbourne Primary School - School Council Day 2018 - Wednesday July 18th
A tremendous success! That is the only way to describe our School Council Day today. All of the children had the opportunity to try 3 different events this morning and this afternoon they were entertained by staff from around the school participating in a fancy dress scooter race. Mr Brooks-Martin lead his team to victory with my team coming in a very close second. But, according to the children there is a well-known chant which implies 'second the best!'
On a more serious note, the School Council would like to thank all of the families of our school for not only donating £1 for their children to enjoy the race, but also food donations for the Trinity Centre, Winchester. All aspects of today's events were initiated by the School Council and fully supported by our House Captains. They have all done a brilliant job in a short space of time and we are very proud of all of their efforts.
