Week of 11th October

We have had such a busy week and completed so much work that we all need a rest this weekend!  The year 1's have been working on whole and part numbers and found that coat hangers and pegs were hugely useful to help with this!  The year 2's have been busy practising counting in 2's 5's and 10's which is revision for them, from last year.  In English we have started writing instructions on how to grow carrots and "How to be like Peter Rabbit."  We are building up to our instruction writing and making of apple crumble!  In our Peter meets Handa Topic we have looked at weather across the world using the globe to find the Southern Hemisphere, the Northern Hemisphere and the Equator.  The children remembered a lot from our work on the Arctic last year.  Have a great weekend and see you all on Monday.
