21st June
21st June - Drawing Day
Today we had a wonderful time developing our drawing skills. We chose whether we wanted to sit outside or inside and made detailed observational drawings of teddy bears. The children applied many of the skills they have learnt during their time here including beginning to look for shapes first, sketching with a light pencil then building in lines and texture. The standard of drawing was fantastic.
In the afternoon, we then had the opportunity to draw from our imaginations. It was wonderful to see incredible creations from fantastical beasts to wonderous buildings.
We are very proud of our sketch books and are looking forward to taking them home at the end of the year.
