Our week started extremely energetically with a visit from our athlete and a series of circuits first thing on Monday morning. Our hearts quickly got pumping and we had great fun too!

 

We have enjoyed getting stuck into our space topic this week. In English, we started a new unit based on 'Pandora'. We have loved reading Fantastic Beasts by JK Rowling and generating lots of fantastic, technical vocabulary which we can use to describe our own imaginary creatures that will live on Pandora. 

 

Another highlight this week has been starting our space sewing project. The children listened carefully and quickly picked up the skill of threading a needle, knotting the thread and having a go at both running and blanket stitch. They are now looking forward to designing their space scene next week!
