A lovely week this week!
We have done lots of great English - Year 1 focused on simple sentences with capital letters, finger spaces and full stops whereas Year 2 looked at contractions and where to put the apostrophe (it is > it's).
In Music, we were excited to welcome back Mrs. Beeton who has been poorly. The children sang beautifully.
In Maths, Year 2 began fractions and Year 1 have continued working on their tens and ones.
Today we had a really successful numberline session in History. The children sorted pictures from the time period of our three queens. Mrs Hall drew a timeline on the table and the children carefully placed the pictures to show how things changed over time.
