Visitor in Year 3/4
Today we welcomed Mrs Cox, a mummy to a child in school who generously offered to come in and speak to the children about her job as a landscape planner.
She explained about how her job was vital for ensuring that new developments don't contribute to climate change and the things they do to when planning new towns etc such as adding wind/solar farms or creating children's playgrounds from recycled materials.
It was great to hear from an expert and also to get a different side of the pollution/climate change debate. Thank you Mrs Cox!
After this, we held a debate on 'Is all plastic bad?'. The children had some excellent contributions :)
Well done! Xx
