FOS (Friends of Otterbourne School)

What is FOS?

The Friends of Otterbourne School is a registered charity.  It has two main focuses:

1) run events to engage the school, all the children and the staff and the wider community around it with a selection of events spread across the year.

2) to fundraise so that we can support the school with any additional monies so that they can focus their resources on more standard needs, we can fund the 'added extras' for example extra play equipment, new playground markings etc.

We are always looking for willing volunteers to help support our events.  There is a link on the main page which links directly to the FOS Facebook page.  If you are interested in getting involved you can send us a message there.

FOS: Who we are and what do we do...

Friends of Otterbourne School (FOS) is the school’s Parent Teacher Association. We have the following objectives:
• To raise funds for the school to enable it to purchase additional equipment to improve the children’s learning environment.
• To organise social events for the children outside school hours - things like discos, sports days, summer fairs etc.
• To bring together parents, teachers and the local community to support the school and make a difference for the children.

We are always looking for new ideas and volunteers to help with events and the general running of FOS, so please email us if you would like to get involved.
