What an EGGcellent discovery!
What an EGGcellent discovery!
Today we found a mysterious chest on the playground. When we opened the chest, we found two strange looking eggs, some coins and some jewels. On closer inspection, we decided that they didn’t look like regular eggs and decided they must be from some kind of mythical creature like a dragon. A note inside the chest read, ‘Please look after this for me’.
We searched the area to see what else we could find and found a sparkly, silver shoe and a pink scarf. The shoe reminded us of the story of Cinderella and thought that the egg might have been left by a princess.
We are keeping the eggs safe in our classroom and waiting to see if anything else turns up! In the meantime, we are writing newspaper reports to tell the world about our exciting discovery!!
