6th October
One of our highlights from this week was our rivers geography lesson on Tuesday. We were learning about the river processes of erosion, transportation and deposition.
First, we explored how the biscuit was like a rock and we eroded, transported it and deposited it in our mouths!
Next, we created our own playground river outdoors and got to see these processes in action. We developed our vocabulary and learnt lots of new terminology such as meander, tributary and river channel.
We are now looking forward to our trip next week when we get to visit the River Itchen itself.
