The Highwayman
This week we have been reading The Highwayman poem. To help the children understand the poem we took part in a range of drama based activities in groups such as tableux and silent role play. The children then had a go at creating a story map to help them retell the story. We practised oral story telling developing expression and characterisation.
Next week, we will be creating our own internal monologues for one of the characters in the Highwayman.
