Today was a day that combined brightly coloured outfits with outdoor adventures. The children made the classroom dazzle this morning in their 'Be Bright, Be Seen' outfits. The children created slogans as part of their morning job and watched some videos to help them understand why wearing high visibility clothing is so important at night.
This afternoon, for outdoor learning, we embraced the huge puddles in the woods and meadow and brought alive our class reader 'Floodland'. The children worked collaboratively to create the islands they have read about and considered ways to create Ely Cathedral on Eels island, Zoe's boat and some of the characters.
