Cleaner Rivers Campaign
The Mighty Speeches
Today Y5/6 made us extremely proud as so many of them stood and delivered their persuasive speeches which they have been working so hard to write over the last few weeks. In class, they have been practicing reading with expression and passion to help deliver the message: SAVE OUR CHALKSTREAMS.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Trust filmed many of the speeches and the audience of our speeches himself, MP Steve Brine, was stunned as he listened to the messages being conveyed.
All of Y5/6 have received a certificate as an acknowledgement of their efforts and both Steve Brine and The HIWT asked the children to remember the message of today and take it with them in their futures.
