News from Uganda
After teaching at Seseme Primary School in Kisoro, south-west Uganda for a year, Miss Pascall has worked with Otterbourne and Seseme to develop a link. We are very lucky to have had visitors from the school on more than one occasion and we have enjoyed sharing life here at Otterbourne with them. Our Year 6 leavers in 2015 were keen to include our friends at Seseme in their donations and together, they bought a camera and a small projector to send to Uganda. We were fortunate that Bishop Cranmer Mugisha and his wife Mama Hope, who teaches at Seseme, were over in Winchester in July as it meant that the Year 6s could personally present the gifts to them. The school were thrilled with the gifts and sent their appreciations. Excitingly, Miss Pascall had an email recently from Seseme with the first lot of photos taken on the camera! We are looking forward to more from them in the future!
