Walk to School Week - Monday 20th May 2024
With over 94,000 children taking part in walk to school week this year (the highest on record) we are keen to be a part of this too!
We fully understand that the school run can be a busy time of the day and you may not be able to walk all the way from your home to the school. This year we are asking, where possible, if you are able to park just a little further away from your usual parking spot so that your children can participate - this will be classed as "walking to school".
We are all very excited about this years May Fayre event on Saturday 18th May, a chance to come together as a community and not only raise money for much needed school resources but to also enjoy the day and have as much fun as possible!
If you’ve never been before, there is the promise of some traditional May Fayre favourites such as the Maypole and Tug-o-war and a chance to see some of the children showcase their talents in the main ring. For those who have attended in recent years, you might be pleased to know that the day will once again end with the children having the opportunity to throw wet sponges at Mr Geraghty!
We are taking donations up until the 17th May for bottles, sweet cups and any unwanted gifts of toys, bath sets etc.
