Week of 20th September

Well what a busy week we have had! Our main priority is still that the children are happy to come into school and settled in their new class.
In English, we have had great fun acting out the story of Peter Rabbit and we now know the story pretty much off by heart. The children have been very excited to spot real rabbits outside our room at the back of the field.
In Maths, we are working on place value. Counting backwards and forwards for the Year 1’s and looking at tens and ones for the Year 2’s.
We have started our science longitudinal study with Mrs Simmons and loved both of our PE sessions. I am very proud of how well the children are coping with so much change and so many new faces.
