With God's love, all are encouraged to thrive

In geography this week, we learnt all about the 2004 Indonesian Tsunami. After exploring all the environmental, economic and social impacts, we needed to find ways for these countries to recover. In groups, we became government represents for each of the different countries devastated by the tsunami. Our job was to set short and long term goals. Each of the countries nominated a president who delivered a speech to reassure his/her citizens.

We had lots of fun devising our speeches and cheering for our presidents. Some fantastic speaking and listening skills are developing and we are definitely getting a bit more confident at speaking in front of each other now.

We are really looking forward to seeing the Violent Earth projects after half-term.
