With God's love, all are encouraged to thrive

Friday 15th October

This week we have been continuing our rivers topic, with a local river visit, and by linking the visit to the Water Meadows to our writing in English.

On Monday, we went to the River Itchen in the village and we did different activities: we measured the river collecting data to draw graphs in maths, and we found that it is very wide and very deep; we also asked passers by some questions (local research) to find out what people think about walking along the river.

Earlier in the week, we collaboration on a history of our learning as we reviewed all of the topics that we have learned about in the time we have been here at Otterbourne.  There were topics including our current rivers one, 'Space' from year 5, 'The Romans' from Year 4 and 'Superheroes' from Year 3.

On Thursday we had our science lesson and learned a lot more about birds.

Throughout the week, we have been enjoying time with our buddies, including getting dressed up for role playing, and we also got our timetable for play-leading at lunchtime.
