Outdoor Learning Day was on Thursday. We had a fantastic time visiting the pond. Mrs Simmons reminded us all how to dip carefully by using the tripod position to kneel on the edge. Every child had a turn to dip and take their catch back to their group tray to see what they had found. The children used folders of pictures to identify all of the creatures.

We were particularly looking for invertebrates but were lucky to find two newts (vertebrates with a back bone).
