Cathedral Leavers' Service
Cathedral Y6 Leavers' Service
It was a privilege to take part in this service and to be joined by year 6 children from many other church schools. We had the opportunity to take part in a medieval tiles workshop where the children listened beautifully and produced some amazing designs for their own tiles which represented elements of Christianity.
We enjoyed the opportunity to explore the magnificent cathedral and all the children listened and sung beautifully during the service itself. Grace and Reuben did a superb job proudly carrying our banner down the aisle and Orion had the honour of collecting and carrying the Otterbourne leavers' candle.
Our candle is now sat on our worship table in class and we will light it each day of our final week at school and reflect on our times together.
