This week, we have been reciting the poem 'In Flanders Fields' in preparation for Remembrance. We explored reading with clarity, giving emphasis to words and taking account of punctuation. Today, we got the opportunity to perform this in church with the other y5/6 classes. It was a very poignant moment and the children did really well. 

 

In art, the children have been finishing our unit of work on Hokusai. They created their own 3D waves with Mrs Morgan by combining a range of effects they have learnt in class.
