Day 3 Diary
Thursday 8th May,
13:00 - Good afternoon from Stubbington! The morning started with some quick preparations for the room inspections, which the children were more than ready for. We were all very impressed with their scores today! We then headed over for breakfast before quickly moving onto our first lot of activities. We split into two groups, with group A heading to do Earthquake and thoroughly enjoying it! Group B went on an orienteering exercise, learning to use a compass and giving bearings which the children excelled at.
Now, after a quick lunch, we are swapping activities and getting ready for the tuck shop.
21:00 - What an evening it has been! Everyone had a fantastic time with their afternoon activities with many smiling faces. We also had the opportunity to make some final mammal hotels for tomorrow. We were so caught up that we nearly forgot dinner! But after a lovely meal of pizza, we all joined together for S Factor which the children performed beautifully- despite some technical difficulties. We are now preparing for bed and our departure tomorrow, something that is feeling bittersweet for a lot of the children.
All the staff can safely say that we couldn't be more proud of all the children! They have excelled in every activity and have shown amazing levels of respect and determination every step of the way! We are sure the children are very excited to see you and tell you every bit of what they've been doing this week.
Final updates to follow along with lots more pictures of today's events.
